The Arc of Marion was Awarded a $20,000 Grant from AT&T!
This funding will be used to implement Train-the-Trainer sessions, which will prepare staff and volunteers to provide high-quality digital literacy instruction. As a result, The Arc Marion will offer accessible digital literacy training to over 250 individuals with disabilities in the local community.
The initiative is designed to help participants develop essential technical skills and build confidence as they navigate an increasingly digital world. Training topics include computer basics, internet safety, online communication tools, and virtual resources. By gaining these skills, participants can access new opportunities for education, employment, social connection, and self-advocacy.
